About the job
We’re looking for a freelance PR exec to join our team.
About you
You’ll already have at least three years’ experience of working in professional services PR.
You’ll already have delivered extensive amounts of coverage for your clients.
In fact, you probably jump out of bed each day to check which papers, magazines and broadcast media have used your clients’ quotes and soundbites.
Oh, and you can write: compelling emails and releases, quotes, and more. People read and hear your words and they’re inspired by them.
About us
We are an award-winning, leading law firm marketing agency, plus we have a growing client base which needs your help.
We have in place the kinds of systems that most PR agencies simply don’t invest in – which will propel forward the results that you achieve.
We need a colleague who is keen to produce results, not just press releases, but press cuttings and social media updates.
What are your motivations for joining us?
You’re likely to have already worked in a PR agency and want to spread your wings.
Maybe you want to rebalance your work/life and work?
Maybe you just want to earn more as you’re a high performer?
You want to be part of a team, but treated like an adult.
You want support and encouragement, but room for personal growth.
You want to go freelance, but you need clients to serve (you’ll never need to win new business for us).
Where and how would you work with us and our clients?
You can be based anywhere you like, but will need to work the core hours expected of a PR in UK time.
If you decide to work in Bristol, Manchester or North Wales, you’ll be able to work with a colleague at least one day a week.
We can discuss the ins and outs of the role, the hours, our systems, how our team works if this sounds of interest to you.
You’ll report to our head of PR/comms and they’ll support you / brainstorm with you / work with you when you need.
Salary
Better than market rate. We want you to do your best work for our clients.
What are the next steps?
Drop us a line at the.team@2bd.me with your CV and some examples of your outcomes (broadcast, blogs and coverage, ideally)
We’ll then arrange a time to chat and answer all your questions as well as asking a few ourselves.
